It’s tough getting through to Amy Winehouse; even her parents struggle to control their wayward daughter admitting there is nothing they can do for her until she asks for help! However it looks like her music label has other ideas! It’s been reported in today’s papers that Universal has found a new and novel way to deal with the troubled star. Hit her where it hurts, her music!

The head European honcho has made it clear to Wino that they will not be releasing her third album unless she can prove she’s clean:

‘They would never release her from her deal, they would just not put an album out.’

Apparently they made a similar threat a few months back and it did the trick but they haven’t failed to notice she’s slowly slipping back to her old ways and they see the album ultimatum as their only option to turn things around.

Jennie Garth Reprising 90210 Role in Spinoff?

All set to play the role of the ex-wife in My Best Friend’s Girl, a new CBS pilot, Jennie Garth has abruptly left the project — giving rise to speculation that she’ll instead head back into her Kelly Taylor Beverly Hills, 90210 guise for the spinoff under development for the CW network, says the Hollywood Reporter.

Garth, 36, also has been dealing with the loss of her father, who died after she landed the role in My Best Friend’s Girl. She’ll be replaced by Canadian actress Kristin Booth.

As for 90210, the trade paper says the Taylor character could conceivably return to her alma mater as a teacher of fashion design — a long leap for the one-time spoiled brat of the old series

Cameron Diaz’s Father Dies

Cameron Diaz’s father, Emilio Diaz, died Tuesday morning, it is being reported.

Emilio Diaz, 58, had been suffering from a flu, which turned in to pneumonia, according to TMZ.com, which first reported the news.

On Tuesday, filming of Diaz’s current film, My Sister’s Keeper, was halted, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Emilio Diaz had a small part in his daughter’s hit 1998 comedy, There’s Something About Mary.

Cameron Diaz, 35, also has a sister, Chimene, 37.

Priscilla Presley Makes a Graceful Split from Dancing

The queen of Graceland knew it was coming. After finding herself in the bottom two two weeks in a row, Priscilla Presley got her walking papers on Dancing with the Stars.

When host Tom Bergeron delivered the bad news, Presley turned to her partner Louis Van Amstel for a hug. And she had nothing but praise for the show as well, telling the audience that it had been “an incredible, life-changing experience.”

After being penalized for doing a lift during her Viennese waltz the week before, it was Monday night’s rumba routine that did Presley in. Despite doing two splits—two!—during her Latin number, the judges labeled the 62-year-old actress’ rumba dull.

Joining Presley and Van Amstel in the red zone were Cristian de la Fuente and two-time champ Cheryl Burke, whose rumba also failed to impress the judges.
