Hello all!!
Where are the weeks going??? Mid April already!!
Over the past few weeks I have been really busy doing some TV appearances, Radio Interviews and a few magazine covers/interviews. At the same time I still have the TV camera crews following us around for the TV series.
The show has been running for a few weeks on ITV2 and I am getting lots of emails from people saying how much they love the show, and how much it makes them laugh! I’m getting so used to having them around now they are becoming a part of the family!
Talking of family, Pete is still on his fitness regime and I have to say he is looking really good for it. The kids had been unwell recently with a small bout of chicken pox, mainly Junior. Princess, is ….she is just gorgeous! Harvey was in hospital recently for his regular monthly check up and tests so that we can stay on top of his medical needs and requirements.
Last week was the Galaxy Book Awards. I’m so pleased I went along to the prestigous event meeting some really nice people. My attendance also put a few peoples noses out of joint as I don’t think I am really highly thought of in the literature world, but you know me, I try my hardest at everything I do and I think the books deserves the credit and thank you all for your support and votes!
The book launch for Mermaids and Pirates was great fun, it was great to see so many happy smiley faces!!
On Wednesday I got back from a 5-day trip to Cyprus to stay at the house. It was nice to get away after the snow we had, not long now till summer. I love the summer soo much, I hate being cold so I wont be needing my fleece blanket for much longer!
Well done to all those who did the London Marathon, and I cannot believe how the Shannon Matthews situation has developed, its like a film! and well done to the police for the ‘Rhys Jones’ case.
Tomorrow I am off to the US. The whole family is going. Whilst out there we will be going to Disney World, the kids are going to love it, especially Harvey and Junior, I doubt Princess will have much idea apart from pretty colours and funny faces! (and that’s not Pete and me!) We’ll also be doing some shopping and I’ll be getting my teeth re-done, they are just sooo super sensitive at the moment.
One thing made me laugh before I forget to write it down. On the plane to Cyprus, this made me laugh yet soo proud at same time. Harvey picked up the remote control for the TV set in the headrest and pretended it was phone as it had all the buttons on it. He had a whole conversation to himself: ‘hello…..how are you?….I’m fine thank you……I have to go now as plane is going uphill!! Brilliant!! he is coming along soo much!
In amongst all the work and family commitments I have been attending Dressage lessons. Pete bought me an early birthday present, a horse! I’ve never done dressage before but I am really enjoying being back in the saddle and riding again away from all the stresses.
After the US trip, I’ll be back for a few days and will then be jetting off again to Australia. Pete’s brother is getting married and so is his one of his old friends so we look forward to that, then it wont be long till my birthday and Harveys!
When I return from the US, I will get a live web chat scheduled for you all. Well done to the competition winner and shortly there will be some more pictures added to the gallery from behind the scenes and family stuff!
Wow you must all be bored now reading this! I need to start packing for the trip. I hope you all keep well, stay healthy and remain positive!
