Beyoncé & Jay-Z File Signed Marriage License

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are mum, but their paperwork is doing the talking for them: The couple filed their signed wedding license Friday in Scarsdale, N.Y.,.

Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling says the license – which lists the wedding date as April 4 – was received on Friday afternoon. The couple applied for the license just three days before the ceremony attended by friends and family, including Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Although the couple’s license was filed more than five days after the wedding – as required by law – Conkling saying it’s expected to be processed with the state without a penalty. (No special celeb treatment here: Conkling says the penalty is frequently waived.)

Though sources confirmed the wedding, the couple have remained silent about their nuptials. Shortly after the wedding, Beyonce was spotted with a ring while joining Jay-Z on tour, but neither of them have publicly stepped out with new jewelry.

Richie Sambora Formally Charged with DUI

Richie Sambora was formally charged with DUI, the Orange County, Calif., District Attorney’s office announced Tuesday – but he avoided a misdemeanor child endangerment count.

If convicted, the Bon Jovi guitarist faces a maximum penalty of six months in jail. His arraignment is set for May 7.

The Laguna Beach Police had recommended that Sambora be charged with misdemeanor child endangerment, but prosecutors declined to pursue that charge.

Sambora, 48, was arrested in Laguna Beach on March 25 after police spotted him driving unsteadily in a Hummer H2. His blood alcohol level was tested at .13. (The California legal limit is .08).

In the car was Sambora’s girlfriend, Jenn Mallini, his daughter, Ava, 10 (whose mother is Sambora’s ex-wife Heather Locklear), and her teenage cousin.

Sambora’s lawyer had no comment.

Actress and model Elizabeth Hurley attended a presentation for her new collection of swimsuits in Spain this afternoon. After she recently conceded she didn’t mind being airbrushed to look a ‘bit thinner and a bit younger’ 42-year old Hurley chose to keep her body under wraps today and instead left the flesh baring to some younger models who despite their age advantage didn’t actually manage to look as good as the airbrushed Hurley!! Just goes to show how fake the models image we all buy into actually is- ah the wonders of modern technology eh!

Following her astounding success on How I Met Your Mother our well-placed source has revealed Britney is set to make another appearance on the show! Apparently she had so much fun the first time she was desperate to come back and seeing as the show had it’s highest ratings to date following her appearance they were hardly going to say no!

We caught up with the troubled singer looking the happiest we have seen her look in a very long time yesterday. We think it’s fair to say the madness of the last few months is well and truly behind her….

Kanye West and Alexis Phifer Break Up

Rapper Kanye West and his fiancée of a year and a half, designer Alexis Phifer have broken off their engagement, Phifer confirms.

“It’s always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends,” Phifer said. “I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met.”

Phifer was spotted on the red carpet sans her engagement ring at an “Evenings in Vogue” event on Thursday night in New York, where her clothing line, Ghita, was featured.

“They’d been having problems,” a pal of West’s says. “Kanye is really focused on his show; he’s putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they’ve split.”

According to the friend, Phifer and West, both 30, had been spending less time together in the last few weeks as the Grammy-winning star prepared for his nationwide “Glow in the Dark” tour. “I haven’t seen [Alexis] around at all the last few times I’ve seen him recently,” the friend added.

The couple, who have dated on and off since 2002, got engaged over a lobster and pasta dinner during a vacation on the island of Capri in August 2006.

A rep for West, currently on tour, had no comment.

British media reports that 27-year-old socialite Paris Hilton will host a satellite TV show about pet grooming. “The animal loving” reportedly signed a deal with Britain’s Living TV television channel to star in ‘Paris’ Pooches’. Which Hollywood actor appears to have really let himself go??

We spotted Vince Vaughn taking a stroll (run fat boy run…) through Griffith Park in Los Angeles yesterday. Vince was recently overheard at a Hollywood hotspot telling one of his friends he ‘really missed Jen’ but before you get excited thinking a reunion is on the cards he then when on to say ‘this was really our song’ when the track ‘Kung Fu Fighting’ came on. Does anyone else think he’s taking the piss??
