Everyone was scrambling around trying to figure out how to fill the time lost due to Rihanna and Chris Brown not showing up.

I am in shock Rihanna and Chris canceled on this year’s Grammy show! I was SO looking forward to seeing both of them. They were essentially going to be the prom queen and king this year!

She brings such great insights to the table.

The Beckhams Reunite

On Sunday, after a long weekend of work with his soccer team in Milan, David Beckham jumped on a plane to London for some lovey dovey time with his wife, Victoria.

They were followed by the paps and ‘caught’ smooching it up at one of the capital’s restaurants.

Is this their way of telling us that things between the two of them will be OK no matter where David’s career takes the fam?

New Couple Alert!

61-year-old Salman Rushdie, divorced four times(!), has found himself a new lady love: 32-year-old actress Pia Glenn, currently starring as Condalezzie Rice with Will Ferrel on Broadway in You’re Welcome America. A Final Night With George W. Bush!

Glenn reportedly first met Rushdie a year or so ago while she was starring in Spamalot and were introduced by a mutual friend.

And just last week, the pair was spotted together last week arm-in-arm at the opening night after party for Ferrell’s show in New York.

When asked about their relationship, Rushdie said it was nothing less than lucky. Adding, “That’s a good word. She’s unbelievably talented. She’s a show-stopper, isn’t she?’”

Grammys Ratings Up This Year!

Good news for CBS’ advertisers!

Sunday night’s Grammy viewership was up 10% from last year.

A healthy 19 million people tuned it!

The diverse talent line-up and hard marketing push is credited for the bump up in ratings.

In a statement, a CBS suit said, “It was a broadcast with something for every generation and, importantly, it was supported by a marketing campaign for every platform.”

According to reports, everything from a Katie Couric prime-time special earlier in the week to a marketing push on social-media sites like Facebook and Twitter were used to get the message out.

Ticketmaster Shadiness Is International

Last week, Bruce Springsteen’s fans got caught in Ticketmaster’s seemingly shady practice of barring customers from buying face value tickets and then directing them to a ’sister site’ that sells ’scalped’ tickets at a higher price.

Well, it looks like Ticketmaster is pulling the same shizzle up in Canada and some angry customers have banded together and filed a $500+ million suit against the corporate giant.

Let’s hope they get what they deserve!
